Ministry of Railways (Railway Board), with the approval of the President have decided that Shri Shailendra Singh, SG/ IRSME/ NR, on promotion to SAG, should be transferred to Railway Board and posted as Executive Director, Mechanical Engineering (Coaching), Railway Board vice Shri A K Singh, SAG/ IRSME transferred. The seniority of Shri Shailendra Singh on his promotion shall be subject to outcome of Writ Petition no 8444/2003 in the High Court of Delhi.

Ministry of Railways have with the approval of the President decided that:
1. Shri A K Singh, SAG/IRSME, presently working as EDME(Coaching)/ Railway Board is transferred to Central Railway and posted in the cadre;
2. Shri P K Tiwari, SG/IRSME/ RDSO, should be transferred to West Central Railway and appointed to officiate in SA Grade and posted in the cadre;
3. Shri J K Singh, SG/IRSME/Northern Railway, should be appointed to officiated in SA Grade and posted in the cadre on Northern Railway itself;
4. Shri N SR Prasad, SG/ IRSME/ South Central Railway, should be transferred to North Central Railway and appointed to officiate in SA Grade and posted in the cadre;
5. Shri PRadeep Kumar, SG/ IRSME/ Western Railway, should be transferred to South Eastern Railway and appointed to officiate in SA Grade and posted in the cadre;
6. Shri H K Raghu, SG/ IRSME/ Western Railway, should be transferred to IRIMEE and appointed to officiate in SA Grade;
7. Shri Sanjay Biswas, SG/ IRSME/ Eastern Railway, should be appointed to officiate in SA Grade and posted in the cadre on Eastern Railway itself;
8. Shri V Selvam, SG/ IRSME/ ICF, should be transferred to Southern Railway and appointed to officiate in SA Grade and posted in the cadre;
9. Shri Sukhlal Birua, SG/ IRSME/ South Eastern Railway, should be appointed to officiate in SA Grade and posted in the cadre on South Eastern Railway itself.

The order in which the names of the officers appear does not reflect seniority of the officers, which will be subject to outcome of Writ Petition no 8444/2003 int he High Court of Delhi.
