A valedictory function was held at the IRIMEE auditorium on June 16, 2011 to mark the passing out of IES 2008 Batch of IRSME probationers. On their
induction in to the Railways after the UPSC exams, the batch had initially
reported to IRIMEE in the last month the year 2009.
The IES 2K8 Batch of IRSME comprises of a total of 17 members. While 14 of
these would be reporting to the GMs/CMEs of their allotted zones in the
coming days, another three who joined late would pass out after a gap of
three months.
A group photograph of the batch members with IRIMEE faculty is attached.
IRIMEE & its faculty wishes the the batch members all the success and the
very best on the coming phase of working posts in their career on Railways.

Having granted his consent to deliver Keynote Address at the celebrations, Dr Pachauri was eagerly looking forward to be at the institute on February 14.
Unfortunately, he could not make it to the celebrations at Jamalpur in view of some injury sustained by him late last week, which came in way of his air travel as per the advice given by the doctors.
Dr. Pachauri, therefore sent the recording of his message to us which was downloaded from the TERI server and played on the occasion in front of the august audience. The message is in two parts since You Tube takes the videos of only 15' duration at a time. The inconvenience caused in viewing due to division of the message is regretted !

In order to improve the availability of diesel locos for traffic, Central Railway has put 57 WDG-3A/ WDM-3D locos on 40-day schedule, in terms of RDSO report No. MP MISC – (REV 00) June 2009. All these locos are fitted with microprocessor based control system, traction motor roller suspension bearing and pure air brake system.
