Shri Keshav Chandra, MM visited Jhansi Workshop on 26.5.2012 . He flagged off the first BOXNHAM rake made on Indian Railways at Jhansi Workshop.The wagons are fit to run at upto 100kmph empty and 75kmph loaded.
He also inspected the ongoing Modernization works at Jhansi Workshop and also construction of New Coach MLR Workshop at Jhansi. Both the projects are being executed by Mechanical Department NCR on turnkey basis.
